Dog Walking

Worried about leaving your dog home alone while you are gone? Extra long days at work? No garden? Too much energy for you to handle? Common behavioural problems such as barking, chewing and digging are the result of isolation, boredom and insufficient exercise. We can help provide the physical and mental stimulation that your dog needs!

Designed for owners who are unable to walk their dog when needed, or who just wish to provide them with more exercise and socialization

Our intention for all dogs in our care is to give them fun, stimulation, socialisation, affection & exercise so when we return them back home safe & sound they are usually tired & very happy.

Walkies does NOT rent or own a field as we feel dogs should have varied walking areas & an actual walk, not just left in a field.

We will make sure they have fresh water & we can also feed your dog if required.

For the dogs safety & well being, we have one team member to every 4 dogs.

What we offer

Our professional dog walking service can be an hour of fun walks/exercise (or even just quality time spent with your dog), regular basis walks or one off walks.

Where ever possible & depending on the customers’ requirements we always try to take your dogs to parks, woods, fields, etc. for an off lead walk/run (once your dog has bonded with us we then let them off their leads with the your permission) for their enjoyment & to give them proper exercise.

When possible we like to walk dogs with other dogs so they have more fun & are socialised to prevent aggression in dogs.

Lessons we can learn from dogs

Dogs never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride.

Allow the experience of fresh air & wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

When it's in their best interests, practise obedience.

Let other's know when they've invaded your territory.

Take naps, stretch before rising.

Run, romp & play daily.

Eat with gusto & enthusiasm.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by & nuzzle gently.

Thrive on attention & let people touch you.

Walks & visits will help alleviate the 'separation anxiety' dogs & pets experience when left alone. Dogs should not be left for more than 4 hours alone or your dog could get depressed,  destructive or could suffer ill health.
